If you're looking to explore the oceans and live among the fish, then I've got a bunch of great Minecraft Coral Reef Seeds for you! I've sailed vast Warm Ocean biomes and braved treacherous seas to discover the best Coral Reefs in Minecraft and create this convenient list.

These seeds work for both Bedrock and Java, so you should be able to find something you like on any platform. While world generation works similarly between the two versions, they still generate structures at different locations. Because of this, I have provided helpful lists of key locations for both versions of each seed!

Tropical Coral Seas

These Coral Seas are directly off the coast you begin on in this Minecraft world. The sea begins with a lone yellow coral block, giving you a silly sneak peek of the Coral Reef a little further out. To go with the bright colors of the Coral Reef, players will encounter a Lush Cave a short walk away. Java players will have a mineshaft in this cave, but players of both versions will have a Trial Chamber nearby as well.

Giant Coral Reef

Sometimes bigger is better. This Coral Reef is only a brief trip from the world's beginning and expands over a massive Warm Ocean within a Desert. You'll find all the coral and tropical fish you could ever dream of. Additionally, you can wander around the reef to find various Desert-specific structures like villages and temples.

Coral Ravine

Coral tends to only cover a single layer in oceans in Minecraft, maybe two layers for luckier players. This Coral Reef stands above the rest because the Coral has grown in an underwater ravine at the start of the reef! Go spelunking underwater surrounded by the brilliant hues of blue, red, and pink coral blocks. It's a sight that every Minecrafter can appreciate.

Coral Beach

Java players will find a set of Warm Ocean Ruins hidden within the coral. In contrast, Bedrock players will have a Desert Temple near the lake's edge.

Coral Ruins

It covers the shallow and deeper parts of the ocean, providing all players with an endless array of bright colors and cute fish.

Coral Path to Mushroom Isle

Spawn in this world is set on a beautiful, crescent-shaped windswept island. If you follow the Coral Reef near Spawn, it will lead you to a small Mushroom Island! If that's not enough mushrooms for you, there is a larger one beyond the reef's edge.

Contained Coral

This patch of coral is separated from the rest of the ocean and is contained by a ring of sand. Players of both versions will have a Desert Village in the surrounding area. Whether these villagers moved here for the coral or were here before it ever arrived, they make good use of it in their everyday lives. You're more than welcome to harvest and use it as well. If you'd prefer to leave this patch as-is, there is more coral beyond the sand that you can utilize.

Dense Coral Patch

Stonewall Reef

Lava falls blend with the waterfalls and Coral Reef of this seed. Unbeknownst to many, the cave within the wall is actually a Lush Cave! An Acacia tree can be found peeking out of the water a few hundred blocks away, revealing the existence of the cave. You could turn it into your home or build a base within the reef itself.

Coral Mounds

This Coral Reef contains multiple mountain-like islands that give it a very dramatic appearance. The starting island contains a Stony Shores biome with plenty of iron and coal, and the mainland in the distance has plenty of trees. The hardest part is just climbing to the top of each island.
