Best Minecraft 1.21 Desert Seeds (Bedrock and Java)

Whether you play Bedrock or Java, you can visit any of these gorgeous Minecraft Deserts. The structures may differ depending on your version, but coordinates are provided for both to jumpstart your gameplay.

Desert Temple Fort

This Desert Temple has merged with the Windswept biome behind it. While it looks a bit like a melting sand castle, Bedrock players will find it makes for a great fort. The red sandstone blocks can be emphasized for a grand appearance or removed to hide it further. Java players won't have this structure, but they'll still be able to visit a temple further out in the Desert.

Coral Oasis

This Desert Island is a small oasis floating atop a Coral Reef. The right edge of the island is a Jungle biome, giving players access to trees and vines. Players of both versions will find sunken ships in the area. However, Bedrock players will also find a small Warm Ocean Ruin poking out of the Coral Reef.

Double Desert Village

Two Desert Villages have combined into one giant village in front of this Mangrove Swamp. Two of the houses already have cows and sheep penned while the villages combined have lots of cats and a single camel. Players will be able to breed these animals using the dozens of haybales around the village for an endless supply of resources.

Desert Raiders

These Pillagers have claimed the Desert's peninsula as their home turf. Bedrock players will have the opportunity to take them out before exploring the Coral Reef. Java players will not have to deal with these raiders. Instead, they'll be able to mingle with a lively Desert Village.

Badlands Deepslate Drop

Deepslate caverns are always a treat due to their fast access to diamonds and other precious minerals. Players entering this Desert world can walk right into one as soon as they start the game! All they'll need to do first is find a tree and gather its wood, saplings, and some dirt. From there, create an intricate mining operation complete with a tree farm in the Deepslate cave. You'll be drowning in riches in no time.

Coral Landscape

A giant Coral Reef serves as the heart of this Desert. Bedrock players will find both a Desert Temple and a Desert Village along the coastline of the reef. They are both wonderful sights to see in contrast to the bright colors of the coral. Instead of these structures, Java players will have ruins and shipwrecks hidden inside the reef itself.

Mushroom Island in Desert Coral Sea

This seed begins on the left side of a large Desert split in half by the sea. What makes this seed particularly special is the large Mushroom Island in the center of the sea between the two halves of the Desert. The majority of the water is filled with coral and tropical fish, filling the world with bright colors and abundant food resources. Bedrock players will start next to a ruined portal, but all players will have plenty of shipwrecks, villages, and Warm Ocean Ruins to explore.

Armadillo Mines

These mines cut straight through a Badlands biome that serves as the home to several Armadillos. The mines have long since been abandoned, but the Armadillos still roam peacefully. This seed also has a Jungle to the right of the mines and a Lush Cave on the left side. Explore the cave, gather treasure from the mines, and befriend lots of Armadillos.

Jungle Sands

This seed adds a fun spin to a Desert biome by combining it with several other biomes. Players start in a Jungle between a sandy Beach and a Desert. The Desert also contains a small patch of Plains biome, which blends in well with the Desert Village in the Bedrock edition. It's small as far as Deserts go, but that adds to its charm.

Sweeping Desert Hills

This set of Windswept Hills is only a short walk from Spawn, giving players access to a great view and lots of resources. The daylight can easily reach the outer areas of the caves, but you will need torches to light up the inside.

Multi-Village Desert

Bedrock players will find a ruined portal and two Desert Villages a short walk from Spawn. Java players will have to travel a bit further for the villages, but their portal will be closer to Spawn. A nearby Wooded Badlands biome ensures that you'll never need to worry about getting wood. Additionally, the ocean contains multiple structures including ruins and shipwrecks.

Eroded Badlands Mountain

The Eroded Badlands are one of the prettiest biomes to settle down in. If you find some Dark Oak wood to build with, you can create a great base that contrasts with the warm reds and oranges of the mountain. Bad Desert Lands

Beyond the Jungle
