Time to go swamp diving!

Mangrove Swamps are essentially an alternative version of regular Swamp biomes in Minecraft, with deeper waters, frogs, fish, and mangrove trees' uniquely red wood.

They were introduced in The Wild Update in Minecraft 1.19, along with Ancient Cities. If you're looking to experience them in their full glory, this list contains some of the best, most unique, biggest, and most resource-filled Mangrove Swamps there are in Minecraft 1.21.

While the structures may vary between the two versions, these seeds will function perfectly whether you play on Minecraft Bedrock Edition or Java Edition.

Deserts and Mangrove Swamps are a match made in heaven. This seed takes the pairing a step further by combining the two with an expansive Coral Reef. The three biomes together give players access to Tropical Fish, frogs, Warm Ocean Ruins, Desert Temples and Villages, and more. Bedrock players will have a Desert Village near Spawn while Java players will need to start by exploring underwater structures.

Oftentimes, the floors of Mangrove Swamps are covered in mud. Because this Mangrove Swamp is next to the ocean, its floor is smothered in water rather than mud. This means you'll need to worry more about attacks from Drowned than other dangerous mobs. On the bright side, it also means that you'll be able to survive off fishing and growing crops very easily.

You may not spawn in this Mangrove Swamp, but it sure is hard to miss. The swamp covers over 1,500 blocks and is filled with small pockets of other biomes, like the Desert and River pictured above. Each of these pockets gives you new materials and space to create new builds hidden from the rest of the world. There are a total of six Trial Chambers in and around the main portion of the swamp, each of which can be found by getting Trial Explorer Maps.

There's nothing better than spawning right on top of a Mangrove Swamp. This swamp is located next to Savanna, Jungle, and Plains biomes. It is also next to a Warm Ocean, giving players the chance to excavate Warm Ocean Ruins in hopes of getting a Sniffer Egg. The variety of the biomes makes it a great seed for taming the many different kinds of wolves that now appear in Minecraft.

The Heart of the Desert

Seed: 7233598823135872816

This Mangrove Swamp serves as the heart of the Desert it lies in. Most of the water in the Desert leads back to this swamp, making it the reason so many things can survive in the arid heat. The patch of Desert in the middle of the swamp would be perfect for creating a hidden base. There is also a smaller patch of Mangroves to the north, which will contain a village for Bedrock players.
