This FFXIV husband-wife duo is impossibly cute

Final Fantasy XIV is an ever-growing MMO with millions of players across the world, many of which form lasting friendships while traveling through Eorzea. The game is renowned for being incredibly welcoming to players from all walks of life, and sometimes that includes actual couples who find a new way to bond during their adventures.

The vast world of Final Fantasy XIV has grown exponentially over the past few years or so, with players new and old now able to interconnect across World servers and even Data Centers. Whether you're in a Free Company or hopping around the cities of Eorzea on your own, you're still bound to run into a number of players who have interesting backstories to share, especially about what brought them to FFXIV and those they play with.

While friendships are aplenty in FFXIV, there's also a surprising amount of players who enjoy the game with their significant other. If you've been in FFXIV for more than a minute (and are enjoying the Dawntrail expansion), chances are you've met at least one such couple, and it's always endearing to hear about their experience. You can see one such couple in the images here; the wife who goes by 'augustrainstorm' on Reddit recently chose to share some of her favorite in-game photo-op moments with her husband.

The photos themselves are every bit charming and adorable, with synchronized glamour outfits and poses in various places such as the Gold Saucer and the Fall Guys collab event lobby. It's enough to even make a chocobo blush, and it's heartwarming to see such moments of bonding in a game that's continuing to cement its legacy as arguably the most welcoming MMO for anyone and everyone.

Fellow players, including other FFXIV couples, flocked to share their thoughts and similar experiences on the Reddit post. One named 'mulefire17' even joked about how their husband plays a female Miqote character while she plays a statuesque male Au'ra one. Another named 'WondrousNomenclature' mentioned how she and her husband play characters that are intended to be accurate real-life reflections of themselves.

All in all, the response was overwhelmingly supportive and gave a chance for players from all over to share their similar experiences, proving just how diverse FFXIV has turned out to be, and how Eorzea can be the perfect place to make everlasting friendships and enjoy a unique experience with those you love.
