  • ADS: Tap to ADS
  • Display Left Fire Button: On
  • Slide (while running): Tap crouch while sprinting
  • Always Sprint: On
  • Gyroscope: On (Gyroscope can aid your aiming so I suggest using it, but it's your preference)
  • FOV Range: 90
  • FOV (FPP): 90
  • Marker Settings
    • Objective Marker: Scale=50, Opacity=70
    • Item Marker: Scale=50, Opacity=70
  • Mini Map Global Settings: Scale=70, Opacity=100
  • Mini Map rotation: On
  • Player in the center: On
  • Callouts: On
  • Tap and hold to view full map: On

These are the most important settings in the Basic tab when you first open the Settings menu in Call of Duty: Mobile. I've listed the key options and what values you should assign to them for the best gameplay experience. Keep note that some settings like Gyroscope aiming are subjective and can be changed based on the player's need.

Audio and Graphics - COD Mobile Settings

  • Graphic Quality: Low
  • Frame Rate: Ultra (or the highest option available on your device)
  • Battle Royale
    • Depth of field: Off
    • Anti-aliasing: On
    • Real-time Shadows: On
    • Bloom: Off
    • Water Reflection: Off
    • Godray: Off
    • Ragdoll: Off
    • Realistic Scope: On
  • Multiplayer
    • Depth of field: Off
    • Anti-aliasing: On
    • Real-time Shadows: On
    • Bloom: Off
    • Ragdoll: Off
    • Realistic Scope: On

Keeping the graphics quality low and the frame rate ultra are the best competitive settings to use in CoD Mobile Multiplayer and BR. Even if you have a top-end smartphone model, I suggest keeping low graphics as your mobile's resources will primarily be used to push more frames, which is ideal for any online PvP game.

  • Call of Duty Mobile low graphics settings screen
  • Call of Duty Mobile high graphics settings screen

The difference in visual quality is slightly noticeable (see comparison shots above), but it's worth it as the performance becomes very smooth. At low graphic quality, the colors look dull, objects don't have detailed texture, foliage is low, weapon models look simple, and camos don't appear as bright. Also, you can turn off anti-aliasing if your game is stuttering, but otherwise, keep it enabled so you don't get those jagged lines on objects.

  • Master Volume: 100
  • UI Volume: 50
  • SFX Volume: 100
  • Music Volume: 0 (Off)
  • Voice Chat: 50
  • Microphone: 50
  • Ambient Volume: 20
  • Team Voice Volume: 50

These are the audio settings you can use in CoD Mobile. Although you can leave everything at their default values here, adjusting some options like lowering UI sound and disabling music helps remove unwanted audio during the gameplay.

Sensitivity - COD Mobile Settings

  • Rotation speed: Fixed speed
  • Sensitivity switch: Gradually switch while ADSing
  • Sensitivity Presets: This varies from person to person and what works for one player may not work for the other. Try starting with Medium and then fine-tune the settings by selecting the Custom option.

Controls - COD Mobile Settings

In the Controls tab, you can customize all the on-screen button placements, hence it's the most important setting in my opinion. You can use Simple Mode as a beginner, but I highly suggest switching to Advanced Mode as soon as possible because it allows you to customize the controls as per your liking. There is no "best" control layout as you need to create your own style, but I've shown my current layout in the image above for reference. You don't have to copy it, just see how I've rearranged the buttons to my comfort.
